A few weeks back now I received an inquiry from a beautiful lady about photographing her baby shower. It was all the way over in Mornington and just a little bit of a hike from Ocean Grove.
Our planets just seemed to align and we locked in the booking. After all, who doesn't love a baby shower, in a beautiful location and for a beautiful and excited Mumma to be.
A few days later I received a message that mummy to be had her baby girl. A few weeks early, but safe and well. After hearing Mum and Bub were all ok, I was relieved and excited to hear the baby shower was now a celebration of the baby arrival.
After a few hours travelling to Mornington, I arrived at the location, which was amazing!! The views to die for, the building just stunning and such friendly and welcoming hosts. The Morning Star Estate. Make a date to visit their guys! You won't be disappointed.
When I stepped inside, the set up was the most impressive, unique set up for a baby shower I had ever seen. With everything based around world travel and places Mum and Dad had travelled. Even down to the food that was served. Mum had put so much thought into the day, I was seriously blown away.

There were games to play, beautiful food to eat by Morning Star Estate, desserts that were amazing and every stand had something well presented that drew conversation at every point of the room. Not to mention the guests, who were gorgeous family and friends of this new mumma bear.
As I finished up capturing their day, I was so honored to feel a part of it capturing some special moments for this new family to look back as the years go by. It's their new adventure, their new journey.
And for me... it's events, moments and memories like these treasured forever that makes me feel humbled and privileged to be their photographer and now their friend. Here is just a snippet from their day. Congratulations guys xx
